THANKSGIVING IN NORFOLK VA.

Sharon and I arrived here on Saturday the 14th of November . Our son Paul and his wife Laura made arrangments for us to camp on a Navy/Army base called Fort Story . Its a very bare bones campground ...they had a bad storm just before we arrived and are cleaning up little by little ......but costs only $18.00 a day ... That includes water and electric . We're around 25 minutes from their house ....we've made that trip almost daily ......well worth it to spend time with them and baby Kaylee ......

Camp Henry is right on the water and home to the first ever built lighthouse in the U.S.A. Sharon and I climbed to the top , we stopped around four or five times to admire the brick work ( ok , I had to stop to catch my breath ) The builder was picked by President G. Washington.
here are a couple pictures .........

We'll spend Thanksgiving with Paul and Laura ......Laura's Mom and Dad , Bob and Sharon Crnkovich are coming down from N.Y. also .......We spent last Thanksgiving all together too.....looks like a tradition has started......Bob and Sharon are fun to be with and we look forward to seeing them again ....now I guess we'll have to share Kaylee time with them ....Paul's Mom Esther works at a bank and can't make it down for dinner ..but will for the the weekend ...not sure about her husband Micheal ..he'll be cooking if he does come.....a real good cook he is !!!!!! Makes his own beer and wine too .........

My birthday was on the 22nd ......Laura made a pineapple upsidedown cake ( my favorite ) along with KFC for dinner ........

We plan on getting on the road again on the Tuesday after the holiday....Let the working folks get off the road and home first .......

Our next stop is Charleston , North Carolina ...for a few days of history and siteseeing the weather should be alittle warmer too .

For all our Green Harbor Friends ........

Sharon is still here !!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you and your families have or had a thankful and safe Thanksgiving ..Till next time ....Paul and Sharon
