Bryan's RV Repair , Lake Wales FL

Well , the adventure continues , on our way to Wauchula, Florida , about twenty miles away from the next RV Resort the RV stopped !!!!! I guess it decided this was far enough for now ..........

We joined " Good Sams RV Emergence Service " before we started our adventure.....good thing we did........after four hours of waiting for a tow truck and a 90 minute ride we were at our "camp " for the next few days .........The tow guy said if we didn't have the tow policy the cost of this rescue out of our pocket would of been between $700.00 and $800.00..........

Here is our "site " and view :

As I said earlier , by the time the tow truck arrived and towed us to " Bryan's Car Truck and RV Repair Center " it was past 10:00 pm.....We called a number Sams gave us and the owner Bryan showed up , unlocked the gates and set us up with water and electric for the night ......Talk about full service !!!!!! The next day Chuck the mechanic for our sick RV worked to diagnose the problem ......he believed the fuel pump is over heating and shutting down from time to time ...this is the third time this has happened to us in the past three years......so they ordered a pump which will take 3 to 4 days to ship in ........So home is were we park and this is home for now.............

Another couple came in the next day for some scheduled work on there RV and will be here for two days also....their names and Gary and Kathy ........Gary suggested we go with them to a tractor pull event close by and we were glad we did ........here are pictures from that event ......

These were Alpacas that were there ....very soft fur and gentle animals....

We went to the movies one day .....a park another day and then after 8 days at the Garage , our RV was done and we were on our way to Lake Waldena in Silver Springs , Florida ........Our friends The Perrys' are there for a month and we'll spend the next two weeks recouping from the last eight days .....All part of the " adventure ".........
For my Green Harbor friends Sharon is still here and I'm sure looking forward to whats around the next corner ......

  1. Paul and Sharon...I always wait till I can just relax and read your blog without the interference of pressures like "work"....you remember work? It's what you have to do, when you'd rather be doing something else for pay that you think should be doubled, while you're waiting for the stock market to go up so you can retire....like you guys....
Anyway, as usual, I loved reading about your adventures and thank you because I feel like I'm there with you guys....in another 6 weeks or so, I'm guessing you'll be "home" in Lyndonville...keep on 'trukin and see you soon!
    Love, your favorite brother....Earl...
